January 1st, 2019

CSIRO US, the North American innovation center for CSIRO, Australia’s pre-eminent national science organization, today announced that Susan Lucas-Conwell, Executive Vice President, has been asked to speak at the Fourth Annual Global Corporate Venture & Innovation Summit on January 30-31st at The Hyatt Regency Monterey Hotel & Spa in Monterey, California.

At the sold-out conference, over 650 business leaders from corporate venturing and innovation will discuss strategies for how today’s multinationals can leverage the innovation wave of disruption and navigate both operational and technological industry disruption.

Lucas-Conwell has been invited to speak as part of the inaugural Executive Leadership Briefing track; a by invitation-only track for senior corporate venture and innovation executives. She will participate in the discussion on challenges and opportunities for corporate innovation as viewed from a global research institution.

“Innovation is an often-used term. What gets lost in the discussion is the necessity of ecosystems,” said Lucas-Conwell. “I’m delighted to be invited to share learning lessons for successfully adapting external innovation for corporate/research/government environments.”
